Malayan High School of Science is the daughter school of Mapua Institute of Technology. Built to be the centre of excellence primarily in science and technology, MHSS is committed to the development of well-rounded scientifically, socio-culturally, and environmentally literate individuals.Following the Core Values of the school the D.E.C.I.R(Discipline, Excellence, Commitment, Integrity and Responsibility) students or Malayans become well rounded individuals that are ready for global environments. Personally I believe that Malayan is a cut above the rest, and here is why.Due to my Illness and the condition of my family, I have been switching homes and schools constantly. Adjusting to new environments have been my lifestyle since i was young. But One thing I noticed that in every school that i have been to there was no cooperation between students. It was survival of the fittest. Until I entered Malayan Science High School. At first I was afraid, I mean c'mon a 4th year transferee. I was going  to transfer to a close knitted group. I was afraid that they would never accept me. That they'll treat me as am outsider. 

Surprisingly It was the opposite. They accepted me with open arms like I was their batch mates. It was my first break from cynical people. In all honesty they we're the most nicest classmates I had. Even though they're not technically focused like in Don Bosco Makati, nor they have a GIANT CAMPUS like in FEU-FERN. You can see that in Malayan, they value character above all else, which makes it the best school I have been to. I believe with all of heart that this year would be my best year in school ever.
